The foundation of Patton Retrievers is the natural expression of talent and ability that exists in each fine field companion. Our retrievers sport titles that include Amateur Field Champion (AFC), Grand Hunting Retriever Champion (GRHRCH), Qualified All Age (QAA), Master Hunters (MH), and Upland Hunters (UH) - the list is endless and ever progressing.

We support them with opportunities and the training resources needed to help them progress to the next step - whatever field or venue that might take them to. Our dogs are members of our family; they are loved and loyal companions at home and in the hunting field.

Reno attained his HRC Grand Hunting Retriever Champion (GRHRCH) title in April, 2008. He is also a member of the elite HRC 500 Point Club. Reno recently attained his AKC Master Hunter (MH) title, with Jay as his handler. The two qualified for the 2008 Master National by attaining six (6) straight passes. Currently running the HRC and AKC Hunt Test venues, Reno is now preparing for special retriever sporting events such as pending Super Retriever Series, amateur and professional.

Reno is a natural who Stacy co-owns with Alex Washburn of Coolwater Kennels. An excellent marker, he shows tremendous memory and line running ability. He is extremely tractable and handsome; this 5 year old is now available at stud to approved bitches. Frozen semen is available.

Maggie is owned and handled by Chelsi. In April, 2008, the two passed the HRC Spring International Grand Hunt Test. At the event, Chelsi become the youngest female to ever pass a Grand Hunt. Maggie has worked alongside Chelsi to find success in several levels of the Hunting Retriever Club. The two are very active participants in the regular venues and the youth specialty programs. The team will be pursuing their second pass they need to attain Maggie's GRHRCH title and participating in other retriever venues, such as the Super Retriever Series.

A true pleasure to watch at work and play, Maggie brings unbridled talent and instinctual ability to the team. A strong marking dog that also handles well. Her enjoyment of the games is evident in her work ethic and wag of her tail.

Nan is owned and handled by Jay. In addition to the attainment of the HRC's Hunting Retriever Champion (HRCH) and AKC's Master Hunter (MH) titles, Nan is one of the Top 25 Super Retriever Series Sport Dogs of 2006.

Nan is one of the first dogs to become a Patton Retriever and enjoys spending time with her family. With strengths in both marking and handling, she has remarkable talent for waterfowl recovery and conservation.

COOLWATER'S KNOCKOUT

Punch finished the 2008 season with the top honor of being named recipient of the Purina High Point Derby Award and Field Trial News High Point Derby Co-Champion for 2008 with 66 Derby Points. He is a sparkling example of what breeding the finest equates. With enrichment of pedigree, this young retriever is already making his mark in the retriever sporting world. Progeny of NFC FC AFC Five Star General Patton (Patton, sire) and AFC Coolwater's Makin Trax (Honda, dam)

His path is already being forged; we are very excited for what lies ahead with Punch. We are very proud what he's accomplished and hopefully steadfast in our dedication to help him excel in his retriever sporting abilities. Punch stands proudly at stud via Coolwater Kennels.

COOLWATER'S SUMMER BREEZE

The youngest member of Patton Retrievers, Bree is the eight month old daughter of AFC Hawkeye's Viking (Viking, sire) and Coolwater's Hurricane Bonnie (Bonnie, dam).

Bree is showing us great potential and promise. She is training alongside Punch with the Hillmans, owners of Viking and Hawkeye Labradors. Her goal will be following in Punch's tracks into Derby while participating in various retriever sporting events with her owner, Chelsi.
